Our story…

Picnic en Provence has a passion for pickling: curing vegetables in salt water and vinegar, with the occassional vegetable based jam sneaking its way into the selection. Our passion for preserving and chutney making was literally born by accident in 2009, when our bodies and spirits need to heal after accidents and surgery. What started as a passtime become a serious passion that got well out of hand and even got us in many magazines and national television in The Netherlands. When we emigrated to France, our pickle passion emigrated with us and we relish it!

Our pickle selection consists of standards such as our piccalilly circus and green jungle, and seasonal specials. And we include the occasional ferment with Kimchi being the always available standard. Why? Simply because I LOVE it. Our preserves are seasonal, use local produce, are firmly rooted in preserving tradition and are handmade in our professional kitchen. We aim for high level, special preserves and hence we produce in small batches. All our preserves are vegan and we work with companies that respect the environment. We ship in quantities of 3 jars with a maximum of 12 jars.
