Julie & Julia
Bourguignonne. Bavarian cream. Bruschetta. Voilà, a selection of the iconic dishes from Julie & Julia, the movie that weaves the threads from Paris in the 50s to a New York kitchen in the 2000s. In this workshop you will learn how to cook the sumptuous, healthier vegan version of the signature, time honored dishes from the movie. And yes, this of course also includes the Reine de Saba, the famous chocolate cake. After all “A party without cake is really just a meeting.” (Julia Child)! You will leave with new friends and the Picnic-en-Provence booklet with the recipes and serving tips to make your dishes look just like in the movie. Bon appétit!
What do you make?
– We will make a selection of 4 dishes the colorful iconic dishes from the movie in their plant-based version.
– You will learn empowering fundamentals on how to translate omnivore recipes to plant-based recipes.
– You will take home the unique Picnic en Provence Julie & Julia recipe booklet.
– We will Julie & Julia style enjoy the wonderful dishes that you have produced at our table or terrace in lovely Viens.

Entry level: beginner and experienced cooks can use this course to up their lunch game.
This is a 6 hour workshop with minimum 2 and maximum 6 participants.
The workshop starts at 15h and will end at 21.00h including the Julie & Julia style dinner that you cooked during the workshop.
You will take home the recipe booklet including tips and an overview of local markets.
And of course, as wine also plays a substantial role in the film – Paul Childs passion! – this workshop will include useful tips and information on local vegan wines.
